Build leaders who actually lead

Our workshops give managers, team leads and senior staff the practical tools they need to handle real situations: difficult conversations, shifting priorities, team friction and strategic decision-making. No theory lectures. No motivational fluff. Just skills you can use on Monday morning.

Who we are

A small, focused team of facilitators based in England who design workshops around the problems your people actually face.

Workshop facilitator leading a session

Premier Leader Workshop started in 2019 when our founding facilitator, after fifteen years inside corporate L&D departments, noticed a pattern: most leadership training programmes produced binders full of notes and very little behaviour change. Participants left inspired on Friday and managed exactly the same way the following week.

We designed something different. Each workshop is built around live scenarios drawn from the client organisation. Participants practise conversations, receive feedback from peers and facilitators in real time, and leave with a personal action plan that their line manager reviews at 30 and 90 days.

Since then we have run over 280 workshops for organisations ranging from 12-person charities to FTSE 250 firms. Our repeat booking rate sits at 87%, which tells us the approach works.

What we offer

Six workshop formats, each adaptable to your team size, seniority level and sector.

New manager foundations

A two-day programme for people stepping into their first management role. Covers delegation, one-to-ones, giving feedback and managing former peers. Groups of 8 to 14 participants work through role-plays based on scenarios we gather from their own teams beforehand.

Strategic thinking for senior leaders

Half-day or full-day sessions for directors and heads of department. Participants map their business unit's competitive position, identify three to five strategic bets, and stress-test them with the group. We use a structured framework adapted from scenario planning methods.

Difficult conversations lab

A focused one-day workshop where participants practise the conversations they have been avoiding: performance issues, redundancy discussions, pushback from senior stakeholders. Each person brings a real case (anonymised where needed) and rehearses it with a trained actor.

Change leadership

Designed for organisations going through restructures, mergers or system rollouts. Over two days, leaders learn to communicate change honestly, handle resistance without dismissing it, and keep their teams productive during uncertainty. We draw on Bridges' transition model and Kotter's acceleration principles.

Team dynamics reset

When a team is stuck, this one-day workshop surfaces the unspoken friction and helps the group agree on new working norms. We use a structured diagnostic before the session and facilitate candid group conversations on the day. Best for intact teams of 5 to 12.

Coaching skills for managers

A practical half-day session that teaches managers to coach rather than tell. Participants learn the GROW model, practise it with each other, and receive video playback of their coaching attempts. Limited to 10 participants so everyone gets airtime.

How it works

From first call to follow-up, the whole engagement usually spans six to eight weeks.

Discovery call

We spend 45 minutes understanding your context: team size, seniority, current challenges and what success looks like. No sales pitch.

Scenario design

Our facilitators interview three to five participants to gather real workplace situations. These become the practice cases used in the workshop.

Workshop delivery

On the day, we combine short input sessions (15 minutes max) with extended practice rounds, peer feedback and facilitator coaching.

Follow-up review

At 30 days we send a brief survey. At 90 days we run a one-hour virtual check-in with participants to see what stuck and what needs reinforcing.

What participants say

Feedback from recent workshop cohorts.

"I have been on dozens of leadership courses. This was the first one where I actually changed how I run my one-to-ones. The role-play with the actor was uncomfortable but it made the learning stick."

"The pre-workshop interviews made all the difference. The scenarios felt like our actual office, not some generic case study from a textbook. My team noticed the change within a week."

"We booked the team dynamics reset after a difficult restructure. The facilitator handled some very tense moments with real skill. Six months on, the team is functioning better than it has in years."

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things people usually ask before booking.

How many people can attend one workshop?
Most formats work best with 8 to 14 participants. The coaching skills workshop caps at 10. For larger groups we run parallel sessions with separate facilitators rather than cramming everyone into one room.
Do you deliver workshops outside England?
Yes, we travel across the UK and have delivered sessions in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast. For international requests we can discuss virtual delivery or partner facilitation. Travel and accommodation costs are quoted separately.
What does a workshop cost?
Pricing depends on the format, group size and amount of pre-work involved. A one-day workshop for up to 12 people typically falls between £3,200 and £4,800 plus VAT. We provide a fixed quote after the discovery call so there are no surprises.
Can workshops be delivered virtually?
Some formats translate well to video: coaching skills and strategic thinking both work online. The difficult conversations lab and team dynamics reset are significantly more effective in person because of the energy and body-language cues involved. We will always be honest about which format suits which delivery mode.
How far in advance should we book?
Four to six weeks gives us enough time for the discovery call, scenario interviews and material design. If you have an urgent need we can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines, but the pre-work stage may be compressed.
